National Give FFA Day is an opportunity for the National FFA Organization and state associations to gain critical support. Last year, more than $1 million was donated nationwide to support FFA programs. In Michigan, the Michigan FFA Foundation plays a vital role in supporting the Michigan FFA Association and more than 10,000 members involved across the state.
The Michigan FFA Foundation’s purpose is to make a life-changing difference by partnering with businesses, organizations and individuals who want to invest in the future of Michigan agriculture and help build a strong pipeline of talent for the state’s agriculture, food and natural resources industries. Those interested in supporting Michigan FFA are encouraged to visit the foundation’s website to learn more.
“For Give Michigan FFA Day, we have over $26,000 in matching funds up for grabs,” says Michigan FFA Foundation Executive Director Alex Schnabelrauch. “Thanks to our generous match partners, every dollar donated on Feb. 26, 2026, is doubled.”
No matter the size of the donation, investing in the next generation of Michigan agriculture, food and natural resources leaders helps provide blue jackets, scholarship and grants. As a member, it is eye opening to see the level of support behind this organization.
Each year, the Michigan FFA Foundation awards $30,000 in grants to help chapters grow their agricultural education programs. This year, 12 schools received funding.
“Glassbrook grants have provided support to schools throughout Michigan for three decades, enhancing educators’ ability to bring agriculture, food and natural resources curriculum to life for kindergarten through 12th grade students,” Schnabelrauch says.
Any amount donated helps expand outreach and impact thousands of FFA members nationwide.
