Gretchen Gautz shines on every stage she walks. From presenting speeches for her talents, which are skills she learned from FFA, to walking in her gorgeous blue floor-length gown, she shines. Her smile is gorgeous and shows confidence inside and out!
The past Michigan FFA State Officer and pageant competitor is living proof that leadership, service, and confidence carry far beyond one stage. Whether she’s wearing the iconic blue corduroy jacket or a pageant crown, Gautz leads with the same heart, purpose, and dedication to serving others.

Gautz walks a horse, combining her love for agriculture and hands-on leadership.
Gautz began her FFA journey as a member of the Lenawee Tech Center FFA Chapter, where she quickly became known for her kindness, humor, and genuine spirit. She served as the chapter reporter and later vice president during her time in the chapter. From the beginning, Gautz stood out not just for her leadership skills but for the way she treated others. She is the kindest person, always willing to drop everything to help someone, without hesitation. Her selflessness and ability to truly listen made her a trusted leader and a friend within the chapter.
Her passion for service and leadership did not stop at the chapter level. Gautz went on to serve as the Michigan FFA Region II District III Vice President, where her impact continued to grow. During her time as a regional officer, she connected with members across the region, encouraging younger students to step into leadership and believe in themselves.
In 2024, Gautz was selected to serve as the Michigan FFA Region II State Vice President, a role that allowed her to reach countless members statewide. Advisors, students, and fellow officers alike describe her as a bright light who brings authenticity and compassion to every room she enters.

Gautz stands next to fellow finalists at the Miss Crossroads Pageant, sharing a moment of excitement and celebration for her second runner-up win.
Even as Gautz’s journey expanded beyond FFA and into the world of pageants, her foundation in service never changed. She earned the titles of Lenawee County Fair Queen First Runner-Up and Miss Crossroads Second Runner-Up, carrying herself with confidence and grace in every stage she stepped into.
In pageants, Gautz shines in every aspect, from delivering powerful presentations during talent and interview, to confidently walking across the stage in her blue floor-length gown. Many of the skills she uses today, including public speaking, confidence, and professionalism, were first developed through FFA.
What makes Gautz truly special is that no matter how far her journey takes her, she always returns. She continues to show up for younger members, offering encouragement, support, and a genuine reminder that leadership is broader in service. Her smile reflects confidence inside and out, but more importantly, it reflects a heart committed to helping others succeed.
Gautz is living to serve in every sense of the phrase, from FFA leadership to the pageant stage. She proves that true impact comes from kindness, dedication, and the willingness to lift others along the way.
