Hey Y’all! My name is Madison Stephens! I am a member of the Culpeper County FFA Chapter in Virginia! I have been involved in FFA for six years now and have had the opportunity to serve as Chapter Reporter, Vice President, Student Advisor, and now as an FFA in the USA Reporter! Over the years, I have developed a love for photography, journalism, and all things agriculture, which inspired my SAE Project in Agricultural Communications. My project combines everything communications-related for my chapter - from running social media campaigns to t-shirt designs, photography and more - and extends to the broader agricultural community where I run The Rural Roots Review (rural-roots-review.my.canva.site), a platform in which I interview local farms and agribusinesses to share their stories. This project earned me a State Proficiency Award and a National Silver Rating. In addition to my SAE I compete in Agricultural Sales through FFA as well as photography, where I have earned awards at both the state and local levels.
