About the Author: Laiken Wilcox
I am currently a Junior at Lumberton Senior High School from the great state of North Carolina! I am currently serving as this year’s Lumberton FFA Chapter Vice President as well as the South Central Regional Treasurer! I served as last year’s Chapter Reporter which initially sparked my interest in advocating for agriculture and FFA events. I am beyond excited to be serving our amazing organization as an FFA in the USA Reporter this year!
On Nov. 16, 2024, the University of North Carolina at Pembroke hosted this interactive event for the first time.
On Nov. 16, 2024, this chapter hosted a Farm Revival event to bring awareness to the steady loss of farmland in North Carolina.
