Leila Harper

My name is Leila Harper, and I am a member of the Bio-Med Science Academy FFA Chapter. This is my fourth and final year in FFA, and I have the honor of serving as my chapter’s President. Through my time being an FFA member I have competed in Agricultural Biotechnology, Food Science and Technology, and the Agriscience Fair. I placed second in the state for the Agriscience Fair this past spring and I hope to place first this year! During my time outside of FFA I am a National Honor Society member at my school. I am also a Marketing Intern at my school this year. I am working closely with the CEO of Bio-Med, Mrs.Lammlein and I am very excited to see what I will learn from my internship! Being a part of all of these things have helped me get outside of my shell. I have learned how to effectively communicate with others and so much more. I'm looking forward to being an FFA in the USA Reporter this year so that I can share the stories of so many people just like myself who are in FFA!
