His process involves cutting wood blocks, drilling holes for pen mechanisms, and finishing pieces on a lathe, with completed pens either gifted to teachers or sold to community members. Through this project, Nathan has developed crucial business, money, and time management skills that he believes will serve him in his future career as an agricultural engineer.
