2016 Session 6

This is Session 6 of the 2016 (89th) National FFA Convention & Expo, broadcast by RFD-TV from Indianapolis on October 21, 2016. Session chairs Nick Baker, Abram Meyer, and Sidney Snyder host the proceedings, which feature remarks from Dr. Johan Uvin of the U.S. Department of Education's Office of Career, Technical, and Adult Education, who praises FFA's membership growth and challenges members to reach disconnected youth in their communities. The bulk of the session recognizes finalists and winners across all 47 national proficiency award areas, interspersed with musical performances by national FFA talent and a recurring comedic bit about a fictional 48th proficiency area.
