2018 Session 6

This is Session 6 of the 2018 National FFA Convention & Expo. The session opened with musical performances and the national anthem sung by Megan Drake of Ohio, followed by the retiring address framework and official opening ceremonies conducted by the national officer team led by president Brianna Holbert. Session chairs Gracie Vernish, Piper Merritt, and Erica Beyer hosted the proceedings with a running skit about Halloween costumes themed around the three-component model of agricultural education, while the bulk of the session recognized National Proficiency Award finalists and winners across all 47 award areas. The session also featured performances by National FFA talent Kasey Williams and Adam Cook before closing with remarks on the power of "Just One" and the adjournment ceremony.
