2018 Session 1C

This is Session 1C of the 2018 National FFA Convention & Expo. The session opened with American Star in Agriscience finalist profiles, musical performances, and a spoken-word piece on the convention's Just One theme centered on risk, step, action, choice, and voice, before the national officer team was introduced and the official opening ceremonies conducted by President Breanna Holbert. National FFA Advisor Dr. Steve A. Brown welcomed members to Indianapolis, the National FFA Band and Chorus performed, and keynote speaker Kyle Scheele delivered a message about overcoming fear and the power of one person to lift someone up or tear them down, inviting members to join his Viking funeral project. The session closed with twin-themed hosting segments, an announcement about tickets for President Donald J. Trump's upcoming visit, and the adjournment ceremony.
