2018 Session 1A

This is Session 1A of the 2018 National FFA Convention & Expo, built around the convention theme "Just One." The session opened with an American Star finalist spotlight on Derek Watts and a welcome from Senator Todd Young, followed by a spoken-word theme presentation, the entrance of the national officer team, the opening ceremony and roll call led by National President Breanna Holbert, and the presentation of colors and national anthem. Addresses came from National FFA Advisor Dr. Steve A. Brown and Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb, with musical performances from the National FFA Chorus and Band throughout. Holbert and her twin sister "Beeb" hosted the session with a recurring "Twin Trivia" bit, and keynote speaker Kyle Scheele closed with stories about belonging and the power of one person before announcements about President Trump's upcoming visit and the session's adjournment.
