2019 Session 3

This is Session 3 of the 2019 National FFA Convention & Expo, opened with the ceremonial roll call of officers and chaired by National FFA President Luke O'Leary, who framed the session around the theme of building a music playlist. USDA Undersecretary for Trade and Foreign Agricultural Affairs Ted McKinney, a former Indiana state FFA officer, spoke about using FFA skills throughout life, his role in bringing the National FFA Center and convention to Indianapolis, and lessons from the moon landing applied to feeding a growing world population. The session also honored outstanding alumni and supporters at the state, collegiate, and chapter levels, featured performances by the National FFA Band, presented Distinguished Service Citations, VIP awards, and Honorary American FFA degrees, and closed with the retiring address of Southern Region Vice President Jordan Stowe, titled The Small Moments.
