2019 Session 1A

This is Session 1A of the 2019 National FFA Convention & Expo, the opening general session held for the first time in Lucas Oil Stadium. The 2018-2019 National Officer team was introduced, the convention was called to order with the opening ceremonies and presentation of colors, and session chair Ridge Eubanks led art-themed segments including the state flag procession, the National FFA Band and Chorus, a video farewell from National Advisor Dr. Steve Brown, and remarks from Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb and Firestone Ag President Tony Orlando celebrating Firestone's 75-year partnership. The session also commemorated 50 years of female FFA membership by honoring trailblazing women, and closed with a keynote from author Bob Goff on love, availability, and leadership.
