2020 Session 1

This is Session 1 of the 2020 National FFA Convention & Expo, held virtually as the 93rd convention. National officers Colson McCoy and Mamie Hertel chaired the session, which included the opening ceremonies, recognition of the Middle School Model of Excellence National Chapter winner (Franklin County Middle School, Georgia), and a VIP tribute to Suzanne Buck. The session also announced agriscience fair and proficiency award finalists and winners, featured a keynote from NASA Administrator Jim Bridenstine on how space science benefits agriculture, and presented the retiring address of Eastern Region Vice President Tess Seibel on moving from powerless to purposeful.
