2021 Session 6

This is Session 6 of the 2021 National FFA Convention & Expo, opened with the introduction of the national officer team and the ceremonial opening of the convention by the officers. Session chairs Doster Harper and David Lopez framed the night around a movie-night theme while recognizing proficiency award winners, Agriscience Fair finalists, the Strengthening Agriculture premier chapter, and career and leadership development event winners in poultry, dairy cattle, prepared public speaking, and more, with musical performances by the National FFA Band and Chorus. Central Region Vice President Paxton Dahmer delivered his retiring address on overcoming comparison and embracing one's own path, and the session culminated in naming the American Star winners: Tyler Ertzberger (Agribusiness), Caleb Peckham (Agricultural Placement), Chase Krug (Agriscience), and Grady Johnson (Star Farmer).
