2023 Session 1B

This is Session 1B of the 2023 National FFA Convention & Expo. The session opened with the national officer grand entry, officer roll call and opening ceremonies, presentation of the colors by Beech Grove High School JROTC, and the national anthem. Session chairs MacKenna Clifton and Ryan Williamson carried a music theme throughout, introducing remarks from National FFA Advisor Dr. Travis Park, Indianapolis Mayor Joe Hogsett, and U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack, who received the Honorary American FFA Degree. Performances from the National FFA Band and Chorus were featured before keynote speaker Juan Bendaña closed the session with a talk on building confidence through energy, courage, and action.
