2023 Session 1A

This is Session 1A of the 2023 (96th) National FFA Convention & Expo. Members of the Congressional and Senate FFA caucuses opened with a welcome, followed by an opening video on agricultural roots, the grand entry of the 2022-2023 national officer team, the official opening ceremonies, presentation of colors by Beech Grove High School JROTC, and the session chairs MacKenna Clifton and Ryan Williamson leading a music-themed program. Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb and National FFA Advisor Dr. Travis Park delivered remarks, the Parade of States presented state flags, the National FFA Band and Chorus performed in celebration of the chorus's 75th anniversary, Foundation donors and board members were recognized, and keynote speaker Juan Bendaña closed with a talk on building confidence through energy, courage, and action.
