2024 Session 6

This is Session 6 of the 2024 National FFA Convention & Expo, opened with the National Anthem performed by the National Band and Chorus and the retiring of the national officer team, with session chairs Morgan Anderson and Amara Jackson guiding the program around a road trip theme. The session recognized agricultural proficiency award finalists and winners, National Agriscience Fair winners across all divisions, Premier Chapter Award recipients in Strengthening Agriculture, and career and leadership development event finalists, interspersed with performances by the National FFA Band and Chorus. Western Region Vice President Emily Gossett delivered her retiring address on acceptance, community, and the meaning of home, and the session concluded with the naming of the American Star winners in Agribusiness (Landon Haney), Agricultural Placement (Wylie Schwebach), Agriscience (Lizzie Schaefer), and American Star Farmer (Paul Oliver).
