This is Session 2 of the 2024 National FFA Convention & Expo, opening with the national anthem, the introduction of the 2023-2024 National Officer Team, opening ceremonies, and a patriotic "Founding Mothers" theme carried by session chairs Emily Gossett, Morgan Anderson, and Amara Jackson. The session recognized the National FFA Board of Directors and Trustees, named proficiency award finalists and winners in social science pathways, honored Agriscience Fair finalists across six social science divisions, and announced Middle School Model of Excellence and career and leadership development event winners. National FFA Secretary Grant Norfleet delivered his retiring address on seeing everyone as real people deserving a parachute, musical and corn-shucking performances were featured, and the one-, two-, and three-star national chapters were recognized before adjournment.
