Jason Wetzler – Teachers Change Lives

This is Jason Wetzler's 2014 retiring address as 2013-14 National FFA Western Region Vice President, titled "Teachers Change Lives." Through stories about his own teachers, a mentor named Mr. Davies at a turnaround school in Indianapolis, and earning a van by working in his grandmother's garden, Wetzler argues that teachers are selfless life changers and that everyone is a teacher through their everyday actions. He closes by addressing the critical shortage of agricultural educators and urging FFA members to consider becoming teachers and to use their influence to change others' lives.
