Taylor McNeel – Lead With Your Heart

This is Taylor McNeel's 2016 retiring address as 2015-16 National FFA President, delivered at the 89th National FFA Convention & Expo. Challenging the common advice to simply follow your heart, McNeel argues that members should instead lead with their hearts by being fully committed to what they do and using that commitment to inspire others. She illustrates her message through stories of falling off her horse at a state show, running a half marathon in memory of her late friend Whitney Ray, and the passion she witnessed in FFA chapters across the country.
