This is MacKenna Clifton's 2023 retiring address as 2022-23 National FFA Southern Region Vice President. Drawing on her travels to state conventions and camps during her year of service, she introduces the Hawaiian concept of "aloha" as giving one's breath to another, and shares stories of individuals like Uncle David, Gabriel, Bree, and Serena. Through these encounters she encourages FFA members to step outside their comfort zones, invest in and learn from those around them, and embrace an aloha mindset of leaning on and supporting one another.
