Grant Norfleet – Life’s Real Passengers

This is Grant Norfleet's 2024 retiring address as 2023-24 National FFA Secretary. Using a dream about an airplane emergency with too few parachutes and a childhood story about doing chores in the show barn, Norfleet explores how we judge people by surface-level traits and rank ourselves against others. He urges members to recognize that everyone is a real person with real lives, feelings, and experiences, and to treat one another as equals rather than assuming superiority or inferiority.
