Luke Jennings – Be The Light

This is Luke Jennings's 2025 retiring address as 2024-25 National FFA Secretary, titled "Be The Light." Drawing on childhood memories of running through the dark from the barn and the stories of people like his friend Laura and his sister figure Freeman, Jennings reflects on walking through his own darkest season—losing his grandmother, his father's hospitalization, and his own brain cancer diagnosis as a high school senior. He encourages FFA members to be a light for others, showing up for those in need and choosing to make a difference in a broken world.
