2026 Proficiency Service Learning

Addy Winchester of Georgia's Hawkinsville FFA Chapter is recognized as a National Champion in the Service Learning Proficiency for creating Mighty Showmanship, an event that gives students with disabilities the opportunity to show pigs. Inspired by her mother's work in special education and her own experience showing pigs, Addy discusses how she developed the program and her plans to grow it in the coming year. She shares her hope that participants learn that agriculture is for everybody, regardless of background.
