INDIANAPOLIS (Thursday, Aug. 6, 2026/National FFA Organization) – The National FFA Organization is proud to announce the latest cohort for the Chapter Connect program for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year, which includes 32 chapters from 26 states, including Washington, D.C. This will be the second year of the program, incorporating 30 new chapters and two returning chapters.

The Chapter Connect program is designed to bring FFA chapters together from across the country to build meaningful relationships, share ideas and learn from one another through experiences before, during and after the National FFA Convention & Expo. Through Chapter Connect, each participating chapter is paired with a Chapter Connect partner, creating opportunities for collaboration and connection that extend beyond a single event.

“We’re excited to continue building on the momentum of the Chapter Connect program as we enter its second year,” said Lloyd Daley-Graham, National FFA Belonging and Engagement Manager and Chapter Connect program manager. “We’ve already seen how meaningful it is when chapters connect, and this year brings even more opportunity for impact. We’re especially energized by the launch of the Chapter Connect Project, in which students will collaborate to design and implement a shared project that benefits both chapters. This addition takes connection a step further, moving from relationship-building into real, collaborative action that will strengthen programs and create lasting learning experiences.”

Advisors at partner chapters will start making connections during the summer, so they will be ready for chapter members to collaborate when the school year starts in the fall. The chapters will then get the opportunity to meet in-person during the 99th National FFA Convention & Expo, which runs from Oct. 21-Oct. 24 in Indianapolis, and then continue their collaborative efforts with the Chapter Connect Project throughout the 2026-2027 school year.

In its first year, Chapter Connect helped students and advisors form lasting relationships across the country. Chapters stayed connected through ongoing conversations, social media and collaborative activities, while students built confidence as they engaged with peers whose backgrounds, communities and chapter experiences differed from their own. Advisors also expanded their professional networks, exchanged resources and identified new ways to support student growth and strengthen local programs.
