Meeker FFA members Kaydence Staude and Analie Staude competed successfully at the Jeff Beutler Memorial Swine Show on Jan. 10, 2026, in Stillwater, Okla. The annual event welcomed 507 head of pigs from exhibitors across the region, making it one of the largest jackpot shows of the season.

Kaydence exhibited a Purebred Yorkshire gilt, a Light Cross commercial gilt and a Hereford market barrow. Analie showed a Duroc market barrow and a Purebred Hampshire market barrow. Analie’s Purebred Hampshire barrow earned Champion Purebred Hampshire honors, marking a highlight of the show for the Meeker exhibitors.

Analie has been involved in the swine industry for many years and has exhibited a Purebred Hampshire barrow at the memorial swine show for the past four consecutive years. She has participated in the event every year since it began, showing her dedication and consistency in her livestock projects. “I have been around the industry for so long that once you’ve been a part of something in your life for that long, it starts to become a part of who you are,” Analie said.

The Staude family is proud of their hard work and dedication.

In addition to their competitive success, Analie emphasized the relationships she has built through showing livestock. “The thing I love most about showing is the friendships I have made through the industry. Most of these friendships that I have made have brought cherishable memories,” she said.

Analie purchased her Champion Hampshire barrow from Danner Livestock in Chalmers, Ind. The memorial swine show served as the final jackpot show for exhibitors before the upcoming county show, making it an important opportunity to evaluate progress and gain experience before the final phase of the season. Each pig brought by the Meeker FFA members earned money, contributing to a strong overall showing.

The memorial swine show continues to honor the legacy of Jeff Beutler while supporting youth in agriculture. “The Jeff Beutler Show has been going on for four years and is sponsored by his family. It’s a very positive environment and has amazing prizes,” Analie said.
