It is never too early for students to start learning about how their interests and skills can lead to a future career. At Mount Pleasant Middle School in North Carolina, every student has an SAE that aligns with their interests and helps them prepare for their futures. Students will watch a video about middle school SAEs and complete a scavenger hunt using the SAE Idea Cards.

This guide is a resource for agriculture educators, advisors, chapter FFA officers, state FFA officers, state FFA staff, alumni and supporters to assist in planning and executing an engaging National FFA Week experience for the FFA chapter, school and community.

The purpose of this lesson series is to guide students through the agriscience research process. Skills learned through this process are in alignment with the National FFA Agriscience Fair award area.

The Combating Food Insecurity Curriculum is an engaging middle school level curriculum geared towards educating students from all backgrounds to engage in understanding world hunger and agriculture’s role for finding solutions.
