National FFA AI Policy

SAE Idea Cards

The purpose of the SAE Idea Cards is to assist students with coming up with ideas for SAEs. There are 360 SAE ideas in nine different focus areas that can be downloaded or used online. Each career area provides ideas for all six SAE types, which are Entrepreneurship/Ownership, Placement, Research, School-Based Enterprise, Service-Learning and Exploratory.

Student Handbook

This resource is a companion to the Official FFA Student Handbook (16th Edition) released in 2017. It provides information to facilitate student learning of FFA material and involvement opportunities. Features of the resource include:

-Designed to make efficient use of classroom time and engage students at a high level.
-Contains lesson plans, PowerPoints, activities, worksheets, questions, vocabulary and discussion topics.
-Everything you need to teach new students about FFA.
-Lesson plans that help cover the highlights of FFA.

Middle School Food and Agricultural Literacy Curriculum

This series of four lesson plans were crafted as a resource for educators to use with students to develop a solid foundation around concepts and resources related to proper risk management, including; information about how to use the Risk Management Agency?s website, how to assess risk using a SWOT analysis, as well as how to develop marketing and business plans.

AgriEntreprenuership

Twelve lessons were developed to assist educators in teaching entrepreneurial concepts. The lesson plans are available below and include all handouts needed for the classroom. The lessons have been developed incorporating National Standards and can be used singularly or as a complete educational experience.

Drinking Water-Protecting the Source

The Drinking Water: Protecting the Source instructional materials will assist teachers who seek to enhance the consciousness of their students about where their drinking water comes from and how sources of drinking water can be protected. The teaching materials are designed to supplement existing instruction in agriculture, food and natural resources courses.
The instructional materials are related to water characteristics and contaminants, water regulations, drainage, and reducing the flow of nutrients into groundwater and surface water

Renewable Fuels

The Renewable Fuels instructional materials were created for educators to use with students to develop a solid foundational understanding of renewable fuels. The six units of curriculum include information ranging from definitions of ethanol and processes within the ethanol industry to the exploration of career opportunities in renewable fuels.

Agribility-Cultivating Accessible Agriculture

People with disabilities rely on assistive technology. Various tools, machinery, and other devices can provide vital assistance with work, mobility, and many other aspects of life.
AgrAbility recognizes the immense potential for rural youth to excel individually and contribute to their communities. Teach your students about assistive technology. In addition to increasing awareness, it may have direct impact for them, their families, or others in their communities.
