Miami FFA members in Oklahoma stepped into the holiday season ready to serve by creating more than 20 handmade tie blankets during their December chapter meeting. The project brought members together to give back, spread warmth and support neighbors across the community.

Members spent the meeting carefully measuring, cutting and tying fleece into blankets designed to bring comfort to families in need. Each blanket represents time, care and the belief that small acts of kindness can make a big difference. The finished blankets will be donated to the local Tribal Center, where they will be shared with individuals and families throughout the winter months.

For many members, the evening was a reminder that leadership and agricultural education go far beyond the classroom; it is about building strong connections, recognizing the needs of others and taking action to meet those needs.

Miami FFA continues to seek opportunities to uplift the community while giving members the chance to contribute, grow and lead. The chapter is going to plan additional service initiatives in the coming months as it deepens its commitment to fostering leadership, personal growth and a lasting culture of helping others.
