Mr. Brown is an FFA Alumni, and everyone who knows him knows that he is kindhearted, hilarious and dedicated to helping the future of agriculture.

During his time in FFA, Brown served as his chapter’s vice president and was a strong leader. He continues to demonstrate this quality of work through his involvement with the Tully FFA Chapter in New York, where he is helping a new generation of leaders in agriculture.

Demonstrating “Living to Serve”

To Brown, “Living to Serve” means helping other people become the best versions of themselves and developing their full potential. He serves as a mentor to his community and Tully FFA members and also helps facilitate experiences that enhance the younger generations’ view and exploration of agriculture.

In his day-to-day life, Brown demonstrates “Living to Serve” on the Tully Junior Senior High School School Board, as well as the Tully FFA Chapter’s Ag Advisory Board. Through this volunteer work, he advocates for chapter members and offers his unique perspective on decisions.

When asked why he does this work, Brown said, “It’s important to tell the story of agriculture to the next generation, so they know the roots of where it came from.”

Brown has always shown his leadership and love for the organization. In 2002, when he was chapter vice president, the Tully Junior Senior High School’s School Board was considering cutting the agricultural education programs at the high school. As a high school student, Brown addressed an auditorium of leaders, communicating the importance of FFA and advocating for the future members of the chapter.

Above all, Brown strives to promote excellence in the Tully FFA Chapter and his community by embodying “Living to Serve” every day.
