About the Author: Michaela Miller

Hello! My name is Michaela Miller. I am a junior at Carrollton High School in Missouri. In my FFA chapter, I am the 1st Vice President. I enjoy competing in public speaking events, and contest teams. My SAE consists of diversified crop production (corn and soybeans), and diversified livestock (cattle, swine, sheep). In my spare time, you can find me outside with one of my show animals, or holding a baby animal somewhere.
I have always enjoyed writing from a young age, my very first thing I wanted to be when I grew up was either an author or a princess!! Recently, I have found myself really enjoying taking pictures for my FFA chapter, and capturing the hard work and smiles passed by my community. I'm excited to be serving as an FFA in the USA Reporter this year, which I hope will help me dive deeper into this sparked interest!
The FFA Organization has given me the confidence to be myself, speak up, and make a difference in the world around me. The agriculture community holds a special place in my heart. We have so many hardworking, talented youth, and I would love to share your story!!
