About the Author: Josiah (Josie) Kuennen

My name is Josie Kuennen and I’m a senior at Northfield High School in Minnesota! I’ve been involved in the Northfield FFA for the past three years, I was Chapter Historian last year and this year I am focusing on providing leadership behind the scene to our growing chapter. Growing up on a hobby farm, I’ve always had a deep connection to agriculture, but FFA has expanded my appreciation and has afforded me opportunities to grow in my confidence, leadership, and understanding. My SAE project is focused on chicken egg production, and I am also leader of our chapters' floriculture CDE Team. Outside of my agricultural pursuits, I also play hockey on the high school hockey team! After high school I am looking forward to attending collage at the University of Wisconsin La-Crosse.
