In recognition of support for FFA that has spanned nearly eight decades, Firestone and the National FFA Organization have established an art contest for FFA members to commemorate a milestone anniversary.

The Firestone 75th Anniversary Art Design Contest is seeking designs of any medium of art by FFA members that includes the letters FFA or the FFA emblem and incorporates Firestone Ag tires. Materials used in the design can include – but aren’t limited to – canvas, metal, seed, quilting, stone or ceramics.

Submissions to participate in the Firestone 75th Anniversary Art Design Contest are now being accepted through June 1.

To enter, an FFA member must complete the entry form below and submit a design file that details the artwork to be produced. After the submission period ends, a panel of judges will select six finalists by June 15 to complete the artwork by September 15 to be displayed at the 92nd National FFA Convention & Expo.

One of the six finalists will be selected as a winner and will receive a $1,000 grant. The five remaining finalists will receive $250 grants.

Firestone and FFA share a long history. Leonard Firestone, the son of Firestone founder Harvey Firestone, served as the first chairman of the FFA corporate governance board. Together, the family played a significant role in establishing and supporting the National FFA Foundation. Since the family’s original involvement, four more Firestone executives have held the role of board chair for the foundation across the company’s 75 years of support.
