INDIANAPOLIS (Monday, August 15, 2016/National FFA Organization) – The National FFA Organization has a new media partner in telling its story to its 650,000 members and alumni, in a five-year agreement with Meredith Agrimedia. 

Beginning in March 2017, the organization's official member magazine, FFA New Horizons, will be published by Meredith, which publishes Successful Farming and many other magazine media brands. Justin Davey, a 10-year veteran of Meredith Agrimedia and Meredith Xcelerated Marketing, has been selected as Editor of FFA New Horizons

Published four times a year, FFA New Horizons is the leading custom magazine in agriculture, featuring information about FFA, agricultural education, career possibilities, chapter and individual accomplishments, and more. The publication is mailed to 630,000 FFA members, 30,000 alumni, and FFA supporters.

"We are very excited about this partnership," says Josh Bledsoe, chief operating officer of the National FFA Organization. "As we continue to live the mission and vision every day, we want to make sure we are sharing the FFA story with both internal and external audiences. As we continue to grow leaders, strengthen agriculture, and build our communities, Meredith will help us share our stories."

FFA New Horizons was first published in 1952 under the name The National Future Farmer of America. The publication changed its name in 1989.

"As one of the National FFA's longest standing supporters, Meredith will tell the FFA story with more passion and enthusiasm than ever.

The National FFA Organization provides leadership, personal growth, and career success training through agricultural education to 629,367 student members who belong to one of 7,757 local FFA chapters throughout the U.S., Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands.
