FFA Link InsightsWednesday, October 30. 4:30-7 p.m.
Kentucky Exposition Center, KEC, C205
Sponsored by the National FFA Alumni and Collegiate FFA, this event is specifically for Juniors in high school to young adults who have been out of high school for less than five years. FFA Link Insight will feature a panel of high-level industry executives talking about career opportunities in the implementation, sales and agricultural engineering fields. Following the panel discussion, Charlie O’Brien, Sr. VP for the Association of Equipment Manufactures (AEM), will share words of wisdom on achieving success in the industry of agriculture. Please encourage students you know attending convention to participate in both the FFA Link Insights and Meet-up.

Following the FFA Link Insights we invite attendees to stay for the Link Meet-up and encourage FFA Alumni, exhibitors and other professionals to attend. FFA Link Meet-ups are an opportunity for young adults to interact with professionals across the agricultural industry to network, possibly identify a mentor, learn about opportunities, or just gain feedback from those who have gone before them. FFA Alumni, please mark your calendars to participate in the first ever FFA Link networking event!

The Career Fair is geared towards graduating seniors, collegiate age students and FFA Alumni looking to transition careers. Email your resume to firstname.lastname@example.org by Friday, October 18th to be included in the resume portfolio that will be provided to Career Fair exhibitors. The exhibitors in attendance will cover a vast cross-section of the agriculture industry including animal health, financial services, agricultural engineering, plant sciences and more. They will be present to interact with YOU! Don’t miss this opportunity to get your resume and face time in front of dozens of some of the largest agribusiness employers in the U.S.
Collegiate House PartyThursday, October 31, 7:30-10:30 p.m.
Sports and Social Club, Downtown Louisville
Join other college aged students attending the National FFA Convention & Expo as they network and socialize away from the convention site. The collegiate house party is all about networking with your peers and learning about other colleges / universities across the nation. Join collegiate FFA for some appetizers, good conversations, and great people on Halloween evening!
Collegiate FFA Career Success Panel and LuncheonFriday, November 1, 1-3 p.m.
Kentucky Exposition Center, KEC, C201
Collegiate FFA focuses on the career success piece of the FFA mission. At this luncheon, network with program sponsors from CFFA’s various programs, meet other college students attending national convention, and enjoy some free food. Also, don’t miss out on the career success panel. Moderated by AgCareers.com, the panel will focus on what employers are looking for on applications, resumes, cover letters, interviewing and other important information that job seekers should know.
