Alumni Webinar Instructions

What is a Webinar?

"Webinar" is short for web-based seminar. It's a presentation, lecture, workshop or seminar that is transmitted over the the web. A key feature of a webinar is its interactive elements - the ability to give, receive and discuss information.

How long do the FFA Alumni webinars last?

The FFA Alumni Webinars are one hour long with an additional 10 minutes of Q and A.

How do I participate in a webinar?

Go to www.ffa.org/alumni. Check the news section for upcoming webinars. Click "Join Webinar" under the name of the webinar you wish to attend and a list of detailed instructions will come up.

Follow the links in the instructions and use the log in information provided to join the webinar. You can listen to the presentation through your computer's speakers, or by calling the phone number provided.

Once you are logged into the meeting, you'll be able to view the presentation on your screen. You'll also be able to type questions or comments to the moderator for the presenter to share with the group. It's an interactive forum to learn, share and grow!

If you don't have access to a computer, you can call into the phone number provided and listen to the presentation over the phone.

Would you like to be a guest webinar presenter?

If you feel that your experiences in state or local level Alumni groups have given you valuable insights, that you'd like to share with others, please contact the National FFA Alumni association about being a guest webinar presenter.
