Occupational Background or Experience
I have spent most of my working days in construction of some manor or another. For the last twenty years I have owned my own construction company. Our company specializes in custom homes but we still do some multifamily and commercial. Two years ago my son moved home from South Carolina and joined the company so we could expand. I am especially proud that seven of my past employees have started their own construction companies and are doing well.

FFA Alumni Activities
I was one of the original members of our local alumni chapter serving as the president for 12 years. I still am very active in fund raising and chair the auction committee. I have served as a director from District 2 on the state alumni council, and as Secretary of the state council. For the last three years I have been the Vice-President of the Illinois alumni council. For the past three years I have been the auction chairman for the state alumni. Last year’s auction showed an increase in income of 54%. I also served as the coordinator for the Illinois barn for Campbell Soup and the Illinois coordinator for the Tennessee barn.

FFA Activities or Awards
I was elected to three offices while in school: Reporter, Vice –President, and President. I was also elected Section Secretary. I participated in numerous contest especially mechanics and parliamentary procedure.
Outstanding Achievements and Community Activities
