The National AFNR Career Cluster Content Standards were developed to provide state agricultural education leaders and teachers with a forward-thinking guide for what students should know and be able to do through the study of agriculture.
The National AFNR Career Cluster Content Standards should be used as a guide to develop well-planned curriculum in agriscience education to be delivered to students throughout the country. The standards, performance elements, performance indicators and measurements should be used by educators to guide agricultural education curriculum development at the state and local levels.
