The Curriculum for Agricultural Science Education is transforming classrooms across the country. Tiffany Morey is a CASE teacher in urban New Jersey; to help promote the value of the curriculum, she has put together a short video that highlights the important outcomes of CASE and the impact on her agriculture students and FFA program. Tiffany’s program and others like hers situated in urban/suburban areas are reporting strong acceptance and growth. Rural or traditional agriculture programs are similar, if not better – it all comes down to the strength of the teacher and the support of the community. CASE teacher professional development is designed to influence the strength of the teacher and ensure the rigor and relevance of agriculture in the classroom.
