Feeding the World–Starting at Home gains new support

Tractor Supply Company will benefit the FFA initiative Feeding the World–Starting at Home with proceeds from its new Out Here Cookbook. This cookbook is a collection of recipes that TSC customers have submitted over many years to Out Here Magazine. Feeding the World –Starting at Home is an initiative of the National FFA Organization and National FFA Foundation to fight hunger in the United States and around the world.

“We are excited about our new Out Here Cookbook and the opportunity to use proceeds from the cookbook sales to support National FFA’s Feeding the World hunger initiative,” Lisa White, director of store marketing for TSC, said. White added, "The cookbook features a rich collection of family recipes provided by our customers over the years for Out Here Magazine. Our partnership with National FFA is one that is important and valued by both our brand and our customers. So the decision to use a portion of the proceeds to support FFA’s major hunger initiative was a perfect fit. We look forward to continuing to identify new ways to work with national and local FFA members to further the mission of both Tractor Supply and National FFA."

The cookbook will sell for $4.99 with $1.99 of each cookbook sale going to Feeding the World–Starting at Home.

"Tractor Supply Company has been a longtime supporter of FFA and so many of our programs," Rob Cooper, executive director of the National FFA Foundation, said. He added, "We are grateful that they again have stepped up to support Feeding the World–Starting at Home. As sponsors like TSC increase their support, FFA grows stronger and is able to provide more opportunities for our members and the communities they serve."

The Out Here Cookbook is now available in TSC stores nationwide.
