2012 FFA Alumni Development Conference – REGISTRATION STILL OPEN!

This four-day conference is specifically designed to bring local and state FFA alumni leaders together for workshops, updates and idea sharing. You’ll be able to take in the sights of beautiful Montana and fellowship with alumni from around the country! But, don’t take our word for it. ask Alicia Hodnik, the FFA central region vice president, what she thinks.

Silent benefit auction and state basket contest eliminated from this year’s convention and expo

The National FFA Alumni Association will not hold a silent benefit auction during the 2012 National FFA Convention & Expo. Ninety-five percent of the products from the silent auction came from a longtime supporter’s vendor show, and they allowed us to attend in order to solicit donations. This year the vendor had a shift in internal needs, and we were unable to secure the donations. Within the next few months, you’ll hear more about plans regarding the live benefit auction and other convention activities to help generate additional funds to support FFA alumni programs.

Without the silent auction, we’ll also discontinue the state basket contest. We hope this change will allow those basket submissions to be kept at home to generate funds for your state or local FFA alumni.

Please express our sincere gratitude to those who have previously donated either a basket or product to the silent auction. We also appreciate the bidders who’ve participated over the years and look forward to offering them new ways to interact with FFA alumni at the national convention and expo.
