National FFA Agriscience Fair news to note
Online certification for agriscience fair participants must be completed by July 15 through the advisor’s MyAgCN. The full written report and application must also be postmarked by July 16 to Deborah Sellers at the National FFA Organization. The new prize structure for national agriscience fair participants will be as follows:

1-5: Gold
6-15: Silver
16-??: Bronze
Participant: Incomplete application
Disqualified: Wrong category of violation of rules

All pages of the Excel application must be completed, signed and mailed in with the written report even if a student did not use an item in referenced form. Best of all, for their work as an ambassador, participants will be awarded scholarship money and a digital camera to record their presentations. Applications for the ambassador program are available at www.FFA.org/collegiate and must be submitted by 5 p.m. EST on June 1. If you have any questions, contact Lindsey Calhoun, lcalhoun@FFA.org.
