Parking in Louisville
Please use the following information to plan your parking for various events at the National FFA Convention & Expo. All questions can be directed to Jim Armbruster at the National FFA Organization email@example.com.
Kentucky Exposition Center Parking

KEC Standard Vehicle Parking:
- A parking pass is required. Two KEC parking pass options are available:
- Multi-day pass ($24, good Weds. to Sat.) available during pre-registration
- Daily pass ($8/day, available at KEC entry gates)
KEC Bus Parking:
All buses entering KEC must have a pass.
Bus parking lots are: E-1, E-2 or Lot L. KEC parking staff will direct you to the appropriate lot.
Buses not parking at KEC may drop off attendees at the Horse Walk, next to lot E-1. This area also serves as the ADA loading and unloading zone, with fully accessible access to KEC.
Note: The sidewalk directly in front of the South Wing is dedicated strictly to FFA shuttles.
KEC Entrance Gates:
There are several gates that can be utilized to access parking at KEC. Depending on the direction you are traveling from, we recommend using this guide:
- Southbound on I-65: Exit Crittenden Drive and use Gate 2 or Gate 4
- Northbound on I-65: Follow directional signage to Gate 1
- Westbound on I-264: Exit Crittenden Drive and use Gate 2 or 4
- Eastbound on I-264: Exit Preston Highway and use Gate 6

FFA offers a limited number of vehicle and bus parking passes for members and chapters participating in competitive or SAE-based events held downtown. These passes are multi-day and include in/out privileges and will be made available to each eligible chapter, through the appropriate FFA program staff.
Other downtown parking is plentiful and reasonably priced. Most garages and lots range from $2-$13 per day for standard vehicles. Refer to the interactive map to determine where to park. Meter parking is available Monday thru Saturday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. and ranges in price from $.75/hour to $1.00/hour. Meter parking is free after 6 p.m. daily.
The general downtown loading and unloading zone for all buses will be along the south curb of Market Street (between 2nd St. and 4th St.) or along the north curb of Jefferson Street (between 2nd St. and 4th St.).
General bus parking (prepaid) during evening hours on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday must be arranged with PARC (502-574-3817) or Riverside Parking (502-584-2459). It is highly recommend that all chapters make these arrangements in advance. Downtown bus parking is limited.
Limited nightly bus parking space may available each evening (Tuesday, Thursday and Friday) in the Cobalt Lot (123 N. Floyd Street, Louisville) for $25. This lot will only be staffed from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. each night.
Concert Night Parking (Wednesday night)
The FFA convention concert will be held downtown in the KFC Yum! Center.
Concert Bus Parking:
Concert night bus parking ($20) must be purchased through online convention registration or onsite convention registration prior to the concert.
Bus loading/unloading zone (concert only): West curb of 2nd St. between Main St. and Muhammad Ali Blvd. All buses must attended to by the driver at all times.
Concert Vehicle Parking:
Sedans, vans and pickup trucks (no taller than seven feet) may park in the arena garage utilizing passes purchased during convention registration or on-site at the garage entrance. Passes purchased online will be discounted.
ADA unloading and loading will take place directly in front of the KFC YUM! Center on Main Street.
Parking at downtown hotels is managed by each hotel. To secure general parking for overnight hotel guests arriving in standard vehicles please work directly with your hotel. Nearby public parking options may also be available.
Note: FFA chapters staying in downtown Louisville in need of overnight bus parking should contact PARC (502-574-3817) or Riverside Parking (502-584-2459) during business hours for prepaid overnight options. These arrangements should be made in advance.
State-Organized Charter Buses
States that organize and use more than three motor coaches to transport their state delegation can make arrangements to provide identified parking locations to allow all state organized motor coaches to have a consistent parking, loading, unloading and staging locations.
