Please use the following information to plan your parking for various events at the 86th National FFA Convention & Expo. All questions can be directed to Jim Armbruster at the National FFA Organization firstname.lastname@example.org.
Kentucky Exposition Center Parking

KEC Standard Vehicle Parking
- A parking pass is required. Two KEC parking pass options are available:
- Multi-day pass ($24, good Weds. to Sat.) available during convention registration
- Daily pass ($8/day, available at KEC entry gates)
KEC Bus Parking
Bus parking lots are: E-1, E-2 or Lot L. KEC parking staff will direct you to the appropriate lot.
Buses not parking at KEC may drop off attendees at the Horse Walk, next to lot E-1. This area also serves as the ADA loading and unloading zone, with fully accessible access to KEC.
Note: The sidewalk directly in front of the South Wing is dedicated strictly to FFA shuttles.
KEC Entrance Points
There are several gates that can be utilized to access parking at KEC. Depending on the direction you are traveling from, we recommend using this guide:
- Southbound on I-65: Exit Crittenden Drive and use Gate 2 or Gate 4
- Northbound on I-65: Follow directional signage to Gate 1
- Westbound on I-264: Exit Crittenden Drive and sue Gate 2 or 4
- Eastbound on I-264: Exit Preston Highway and use Gate 6

FFA offers a limited number of vehicle and bus parking passes for members and chapters participating in competitive or SAE-based events held downtown. These passes are multi-day and include in/out privileges and will be made available to each eligible chapter, through the appropriate FFA program staff.
Other downtown parking is plentiful and reasonably priced. Most garages and lots range from $2-$13 per day. For convention attendees wanting to experience downtown Louisville, refer to the interactive map to determine where to park.
Bus pick-up/drop-off zones are located on Market St. or Jefferson St. between 4th St. and 5th St. Bus parking is available at the Silks Lot (418 East Main Street) from Wednesday thru Saturday and will cost $25 per entry, cash or credit card.
Meter parking is available Monday thru Saturday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. and ranges in price from $.75/hour to $1.00/hour. Meter parking is free after 6 p.m. daily.
Concert Night Parking (Wednesday night)
The FFA convention concert will be held downtown in the KFC YUM! Center.
Concert Bus Parking/Drop-off
Purchase a $20 parking pass through online convention registration.
Buses wishing to drop off for the concert can do so along the curb of 2nd St. between Main St. and Muhammad Ali Blvd.
Concert Vehicle Parking
Sedans, vans and pickup trucks (no taller than seven feet) may park in the arena garage utilizing passes purchased during convention registration or on-site at the garage entrance. Passes purchased online will be discounted.
ADA unloading and loading will take place directly in front of the KFC YUM! Center on Main Street.
Please contact your hotel to make arrangements if you plan to park oversized vehicles. All hotel parking fees are to be settled directly with the hotel or the designated parking operator.
State-Organized Charter Buses
States that organize and use more than three motor coaches to transport their state delegation can make arrangements to provide identified parking locations to allow all state organized motor coaches to have a consistent parking, loading, unloading and staging locations.
