Future Career Goal
To become a life-long teacher in agriculture, economics or ministry. To work in an agriculture business helping to develop people and making the business more efficient while reducing its impact on the environment.
When Kenneth D. Quick Jr. was in junior high, there was no FFA chapter at his school. In ninth grade, he helped one of his teachers start one.
“I had no idea at that time that FFA would consume my entire life,” Quick said. “FFA has given me the skills to make an impact in the world. I have developed the skills I need to succeed and have become a passionate advocate for the future of agriculture. I’ve seen how FFA can change a student, a school and a community. Young people need FFA.
“My job is to serve as a representative and an advocate for FFA, agriculture and agricultural education,” he said. “Throughout my FFA career, I have been fortunate enough to be surrounded by advisors, coaches, peers and even junior high members who have helped develop me into the man I am today – a true product of every FFA program, partner and experience I have ever had.”
