"There needs to be an increased focus on public presentations by state officers."
There is a new curriculum in place for NLCSO that includes an entire session on the fundamentals of facilitating and presenting. The updated lesson on public presentations is based off of the practices that National FFA trainers use and were taught through Quantum Teaching. This curriculum is being piloted in Idaho during the summer of 2011 and will be in full use in the summer of 2012.
"Curriculum needs to be updated to be fresh and engaging."
There is a new curriculum written that will be piloted in the summer of 2011 and be in full use in the summer of 2012. The curriculum has been written at a higher lever with greater emphasis on areas such as workshop development and presentation skills.
"Training needs to focus on specific state training needs of states participating."
