Logging Operations Inspectors are responsible for the inspection of logging operations for various levels of safety, management and transportation levels.
 
Career Information: 
Logging Operations Inspectors must be in good health and be able to work outdoors every day and to work as part of a team. Many logging occupations require physical strength and stamina. Maturity and good judgment are important in making quick, intelligent decisions in dealing with hazards as they arise. Logging Operations Inspectors usually work for or are contracted by the state and Federal government to make sure that loggers are in compliance with regulations. They may inspect for safety, equipment operation, environmental hazards, fire safety, and the timber product removed.
