Career Information: 
Farm Appraisers put a dollar value on farms and the land, based on general market conditions, land and lease values, value per acre and historical value per acre. The American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers (ASFMRA) awards accredited designations to members with at least five years of field experience who submit a qualified demonstration report and pass a comprehensive written and oral examination; professional ethics and performance are a must. Members of ASFMRA are uniquely qualified to meet the complex challenges of modern agriculture.
